Question : Hi Dr.
I am suffering from Pcod and started taking Dronis 30 twice a day from last 3 days as prescribed by my gynaecologist because my peiods were delayed by a week. Yesterday me and my partner had unprotected sex as the condom broke. I took i-pill within 12 hours of unprotected sex and did not take my regular medicine Dronis 30. Can you please suggest whether I can start continuing my medicine i.e. Dronis 30 or do I have to wait for sometime. My periods are already delayed by 10 days now.

hello xxxxx, thanks for writing in to is with your health query. Ipill is a strong dose of progesterone to make your uterus out of phase for implantation. you can continue your daily dose of dronis . Donot discontinue it. take it as prescribed. regards Dr Manish hain.
