Question: I have had travelers diarrhea for the past 72 hours, with lots of red blood in my stools since this morning (day three) Should I "wait it out", or see a doctor? Are antibiotics recommended or can I eat probiotic joghurts and consume teas and other liquids?

Brief Answer:
get yourself clinically examined and investigated.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.
After reading your post, I would suggest that you should get yourself clinically examined and investigated as soon as possible by your doctor. You need an antibiotic along with antiamoebic and an antacid. A probiotic will have added benefits. Eat light meals prepared under hygienic conditions. Also take care of your hydration.
I hope this is helpful to you. If you have any further query, I will be happy to help.
Regards.
