Question : He was suffering from fever and was hospitalized. During the hospitalization with general antibiotics his fever was subsidized but they found infection in his urine culture and pus cell on 10th Nov 2016.
Then during the urinary bladder scan through it was found that there is an infection in bladder and it is Cystisis. But his kidney and liver are normal.
Now on 22 Nov 2016 we changed the hospital, the urine sample is clear and but still the bladder infection is there.
He was advised to go for Circumcision and also Cystoscopy test. Right now there is
no any infection from his urine sample except the pus cell. But his bladder is still showing the impression of Cystisis.
But we are worried if we really need to do cystoscopy, as his age is just 2 years. Is there any other alternative test available to check the cause for the issue. Once the bladder is infected will it get recovered by his own and if yes how long will it take

                                    Brief Answer:
No need for cystoscopy.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an urologist, I can understand your concern.
Once repeat urine culture is normal, there's no indication for doing cystoscopy.
He must drink about 3-4 glasses fluids daily.
Decision about circumcision can be given, after examination of penis.
He should maintain good penile hygiene.
Wishing him well.
