Question : Hello Doc, I am type 1 diabetic patient. My problem is that I have UTI problem most of the time and it even worsens more after having intercourse with my hubby. I am most of the time on Antibiotics. Please suggest on what should be done

Thanks for the query to hcm,
There is all likelihood that your husband may be a carrier of the urinary organism causing recurrent infections to you post intercourse after you stand treated with antibiotics once. So his urethral culture should be done and he should be treated simultaneously to avoid recurrences of UTI.
