Question : I have benn prescribed Macrobid for a UTI infection. My kidney function is E GFR black 37 and E GFR non black 31. Is it okay for me to be taking Macrobid?

Hi,

It is not advised to take macrobid when GFR is less than 60ml/min because of increased toxicity. Bring this to your doctor's attention and get this drug changed.
