Question: i have a Vitamin D3 & B12 deficiency, last 1 year back i had taken the course, but now again i am feeling the same symptoms, so should can i go for the same course, but last time i had taken injection, can this time i can go for Oral dosage, if it is ok, can you recommend the same

Thanks for the query.

As you have already taken a course of vit D3 and B12 last year, if you haven't checked the levels recently, I would suggest you to repeat vit D3 and vit B12 levels before starting the course.

You can try these home remedies mean while:

- Include vitamin B12-fortified grains and breakfast cereal in your diet.

- If you are a vegetarian you should have 4 glasses of milk a day in the following ways: Drink one glass of milk, have a bowl of yogurt along with lunch, another glass of buttermilk around evening, and drink another glass of milk before bedtime.

- Go out in sun for atleast half an hour every day between 11 am to 3 pm for vit D3.

- If the levels are still low, or you are a strict vegetarian you can take 1 month course of tab. becosules once daily for 30 days after food and Dvion 60000 IU sachets once weekly for 4 weeks.
