The blood blister can be due to frictional dermatitis .
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply steroid antibiotic combination cream like cortisone and neosporin ointment on the blister twice daily for 5-7 days.
This should resolve the blister.
Besides this you can continue using the jock itch spray and wear well fitted cotton shorts.

can i still exercise? i do have irritation even just walking. should i cover with a band aid or bandage? I do thank you!
