Question : Hi I AM EXPERIEN EING A BURNING AND ITCHING FEELING AFTER COMING OFF EFFEXOR XR AND AM WONDERING IF THERE IS ANYTHING I CAN DO TO EASE THIS.

Itching and burning are uncommon withdrawal symptoms of effexor. You can take levocetrizine - an anti allergic medicine for the same. It may be available over the counter. However it may cause sedation. So better to consult your treating doctor for prescription and dosage and take the drug.

Consulting your treating doctor also will also be helpful to just confirm that symptoms are due to stopping effexor and not anything else (it may be allergy to something else also)
