Question: Hello. I have had what I think is a styse for a couple weeks now. I have had styes in the past but they only lasted a couple days at most. This one that I have now isnt painful or bothersome at all except for the sight of it. Also some of the eyelashes are pointing down around it. I think its getting better but it is a very slow process. Could you please recommend what I should do for it to heal faster thanks. Also I took a picture to help better see what it is.

Brief Answer:
Turning into a chalazion.

Detailed Answer:
My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to us.
The original infection has settled in the form of a cyst now , that is the reason it is not painful.
To hasten the process of early resolution, have hot compress twice a day for 5 minutes and if you can get a steroid eye ointment to be applied at bed time for 2 weeks. This usually resolves with treatment otherwise this can be removed surgically.
