Brief Answer:
ACL ligament tear. Needs MRI scan to confirm before doing Arthroscopy

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Thanks for the query.

Usually Arthroscopic knee surgery costs differs widely according to the centre it is being performed in, the use of regular or bioabsorbable implants, etc.

Average cost in the United States is $2,925 - $7,900.

According to the report you have provided, you seem to have ACL ligament tear causing instability. Also there appears to be Lateral meniscus cartilage tear according to the clinical examination and possible sprain of the MCL and LCL ligaments.

You need to get an MRI of the knee to be sure of the damage and what can be repaired.

The Xray only gives little information of the structures in the knee.

Kindly get an MRI and upload the report. I shall comment on your treatment accordingly.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.

Regards,

Dr. Aashish Raghu
