Question : My two year old granddaughter has a red bump on her cheek that looks like an insect bite. We are trying to figure out what may have bitten her. However, I can not find an image online that looks similar. The images online of bites from ticks, chiggers, ants, fleas, bed bugs, mosquitoes, scabies, lice and spiders don't look the one she has.
Brief Answer:
Ant bite
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query and photograph.
It's looking like an ant bite.
There is nothing to worry.
Just apply cortisone cream twice a day for 3 days.
She will be fine.
Cream is usually available over the counter.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
