Suggest Treatment For A Sore Near The Anal Area

Question : Hello. I have a sore right near the anal area. It has resulted in a scab so far. The scab is slowly diminishing in size. I've applied some "bactine" to it and it seems to help as it has not grown; in fact, it has slowly diminished. My doctor prescribed Triamcinolone ascetonide, and told me to apply it twice a day in a broader area in my back but missed the Scab area. But she may have missed seeing the scab by the anal area...may have been too embarassed to look there.

It's better to avoid Triamcinolone.

Triamcinolone is a steroid.It should not be applied over raw surface or healing areas.I prefer it over sites where allergy is present.
You can continue with the same application which you were using and which gave you good response.
