Brief Answer:
Tramadol with Aspirin will provide best relief.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Madam.

I have carefully read your query and understand your concern.

As part of the emergency management of pain control in your case the ideal combination of analgesia with minimum possible of side effects would be-

Tab Tramadol 100 mg stat followed by 50 mg every 4 hours until pain subsides.
plus Aspirin 325 mg single dose.

Note: these drugs are useful for providing the symptomatic relief only.
But they do not cure the underlying condition responsible for causing it.
These drugs should be taken only under strict medical supervision.

The possible cause of pain in your mother's case might be a flare up of Colitis.
Make arrangements to visit your nearest hospital for expert management.

Post your further queries if any,
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Steroids are the main stay of therapy

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
welcome back.

The flare up of colitis is treated with drugs like Corticosteroids Ex Prednisolone and Methylprednisolone for a short duration of time to achieve clinical remission.

Under special circumstances steroid sparing drugs like Immunomodulators are used Ex Azathioprine and Interferons.

These drugs offer excellent response against the underlying inflammation by controlling all the major symptoms including pain.

These drugs should be used along with another class of drugs like Salazines ex Sulphasalazine, which belong to class of antibiotics.

There is no such entity like Ankylosing Spondylitis flare up.

I hope this info is helpful to you,
Post your further queries if any,
Thank you
