Brief Answer:
Urine infection;

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for asking!
The most probable diagnosis is urinary infection.
Bad urine odor and edema in lower extremities are typical of it.
I would suggest to send a morning urine sample in laboratory to confirm it, than your treating physician will give you the appropriate antibiotic.
Meanwhile keep monitoring the blood sugar, as you know during infection it tends to rise.
Hope the information will help.
Wish you good health.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
