Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX , thanks for using HCM.
I went through the query and I feel very sorry for the agony being faced by you.
Since
hypothyroidism and DVT, you should take your thyroid medications and also
warfarin regularly as adviced by your treating doctor.
Bloating of abdomen may be due to hypothyroidism or due to decreased activity and also due to C section. For this regular exercises, daily walk, more of fibrous diet and regular treatment with
thyroxine will help. Thyroid problem may also lead to head ache, feeling bored etc. Ands since it is like a replacement you should never skip these drugs. Keep monitoring your
TSH levels.
Warfarin is to prevent blood cloting and also any further progress of DVT. So based on the INR the dose should be adjusted. You should continue this drug to prevent any further complications. Avoid taking any
sulfa drugs as they can cause drug interactions.
Other measures that may help are keep your leg end raised during sleep and while you are taking rest always put your legs on elevated position (rest on other table). Have diet rich in protein and fibre. Monitor BP and renal function test.
I hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask if any further queries and I will be glad to answer them.
Wish you good health and faster recovery.
Regards
