Question : Hi, I'm taking Creon 25000 tabs. I'm suffering terribly from stomach cramps, diarrohea following eating, I'm taking 2 x 25000 with breakfast and supper and 3 x 25000 with main meal. I also take 1 x 25000 with each snack I eat. I have an illiostomy bag following a chronic episdod of pancreatitis. Please help. Thank you, XXXXXXX

Hi,

Thanks for this query. I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms. Your information suggests that you might be having chronic pancreatitis that has resulted in poor digestion. I will like to know if the diarrhea started before or after you started taking this Creon? How often do you have these episodes? Any blood in the stools? Any mucus? Also, do you have the impression that there is "oil” in your stool?

If all the above is negative, I will suggest that you take Buscopan for cramp relief. With more details, I will follow up to provide more insights.
