Question : As most on this site know I have high Anxiety and IBS. I am traveling to St Maartin in the Caribbean and think the doctors can prescribe Metazalone ( Baralign ) there. Do you know if they do? Is this medication good for abdominal pain?

Hi and thank you for asking.

You are asking about Baralgin. It is a pain killer NSAID drug.
It can be in OTC dosage and you can take it without prescription.

Usually it is not recommended to be used in mild to moderate pain.
It can be used and is effective in cases like severe abdominal pain.
It is mostly used in severe pain.

This is why in my opinion you can use other drugs for IBS like antispasmodic drugs (eg.Bentyl).
