Detailed Answer:
Hello,

If the pain is similar to the ulcer you had in the past, try Zantac 150 mg twice a day. Depending on how long you have had this symptom you may need to continue the Zantac. If you only had 1 day of symptoms, taking the Zantac for 1-3 days may be adequate. If this has been going on for several days or weeks, you may need a course of 4-6 weeks.

However, the pain may be due to other things. Pain all over the abdomen is sometimes due to gas causing intestinal distention. Simethicone (GasX) may help with that. Pain in the upper right side with nausea can be due to gall bladder problems.

If there is a lot of pain, then go to the urgent care clinic or ER and don't wait.

It is hard to say definitively what this is without being able to see you and examine your abdomen. But I'd say if it is tolerable and you can wait, try the Zantac or Simethicone or both. Otherwise, go in to be seen promptly.
