Brief Answer:
rare side effects

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Nausea and indigestion are rare side effects of atorvastatin

Nausea occurs in 4 to 7% of persons (4 to 7 out of a 100 persons who use it) and indigestion occurs in 3 to 6%.

Abdominal pain is very rare (0.1 to 1%- 1 out of 1000 to 1 out of 100 persons).

Since the medication was discontinued, if the symptoms stop, then you would know that it was the likely cause. This should occur by day 3 to 5, if the medication was the culprit.

If the symptoms, continue, then the gastro doctor would determine if there is another cause.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
