Question : Yes I have had pain and throwing up and diarrhea. Since last sat. I was starved and ate my evening meal and was instantly in pain and nausea. It increased as the evening wore on I took nausea med and later a gas x. I last threw up at 2 am Sun morning. I have not had a appetite and my urine is very dark. sunday evening I started running a fever of 102. I have tried to hydrate with gateraid and broth. This morning I woke with more diarrhea about five I have only taken in fluids today but my fever went down after last diarrhea bout about ten thirty.

Hi and thanks for this query.

I have reviewed your info fully and this calls to mind the possibility of a viral bug in the intestines causing this diarrhea. I will suggest that you continue with rehydration and tylenol only. This should be enough. However, I will recommend a stool exam if this diarrhea and fever goes beyond three days again. Diarrhea would normally not go beyond 7days if caused by a virus only. Also, keep me updated should any other symptom like abdominal pain, repeated vomiting, etc. sets in.
