Question : Hi There, I am getting pain in my colon mostly when I am sitting down....
Brief Answer:
Check for internal or external hemorrhoids
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
If someone complains such in my clinic I would ask for bowel movements first. I will ask for consistency of the stool whether hard or soft?
I will go for anoscopy where I can look for hemorrhoids through an instrument which is hardly a 5 minute clinic based procedure. I would also look for anal fissures as well.
I hope you understand the possibilities of the problem with the complains that you have. Please see a general surgeon for this kind of problem.
