Question : On my shins...if I get a scrape or abrasion on my shins the outer layer(s) of skin will come off very easily and oftentimes a "large blister" forms underneath.

Has it been increasing in size? But for the fact that you said this is trauma, it looks like an infection. In any case, you need regular wound care and maybe antibiotics. If there is much pain, then you should get it addressed with pain drugs. Avoid Ibuprofen.
I think you've got a fragile skin. Increase fruits consumption might be of help to you.
