Question : My 15 year old daughter accidentally took her fathers blood pressure pill 100mg of lorsatan what do I need to do er????
Brief Answer:
Give her salt water.
Detailed Answer:
HI
Thanks for posting your query.
Well 100mg is little high dose but there is no need to panic . Lasartan is a slow acting medicine and hence it shall not reduce Blood pressure to significantly lower levels.
I recommend you to give her salt water 1-2 litres and if in case she complains of Giddiness then get her blood pressure checked . If it is less than 90 systolic she need to take IV Fluids .
If no giddiness is there then nothing needs to be done .
Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask.
Regards.
