Maintain good hydration and continue with next dose as advised.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. Suppositories in the elderly will be usually either paracetamol for fever or laxatives like dulcolax for constipation.
2. As it is a single dose, which was taken, not much to be worried about, as there is no risk of any toxicity.
3. Need to maintain adequate hydration is essential. Ask him to take at least 4-6 liters of water for the day.

In future, caretaker or help regarding medications is essential.

Present medication, depending on how it was prescribed, next dose can be continued as advised. Avoid repetition of dose for the present one. Otherwise, no change in regular diet or other activities is necessary.

Hope it helps.
