Question : I was spraying metaspray in my 18 month old daughters nose. She moved her head so some air vapours went into her eyes. Can that harm her. I rinsed her eyes thoroughly
Brief Answer:
Nothing will happen - Don't worry
Detailed Answer:
Hi....please do not worry. Nothing will happen. Moreover I congratulate you for the presence of mind and the first aid that you have given by rinsing the eyes, thoroughly.
Metaspray is a steroid which works on mucosal surfaces. It may not or may not get absorbed from the eye membrane or conjunctiva. It is not irrirant to the eyes unless given purposefully in large doses. Moreover a single dose of vapours, that too after rinsing is harmless.
I assure you again to be rest assured.
