Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I have gone through your query and I have understood your concerns.

Acne and oily skin goes hand in hand. Dandruff is also a common problem in those who have acne.

PCOS may be the underlying reason for acne in your case.

If I was the treating doctor I would suggest that you be first started on specific treatment for pcos i.e tablet metformin with or without monthly hormonal pills. This treatment may need to be continued for at least 6-12 months.

Simultaneous to Pcos treatment I also suggest you to use either topical benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel Or clindamycin 1% gel for active acne during day time.
At night you may use Adapalene gel 0.1% over the whole acne prone area. Adapalene is antiinflammatory and comedolytic. It is therefore antiacne as well as it also helps fade away dark spots left over by previous acne.

In case you also have inflammatory acne i.e red, oainful, papular, pustular Or nodular acne lesions, you would also benefit from one of the oral antiacne antibacterials e.g either doxycycline or minocycline or azithromycin tablets.

In addition to all these, you also have an option to go for a few sessions of chemical peeling from a dermatologist in your vicnity. Salicyclic chemical peel is quite good for acne, balackheads, oily skin and acne spots.

For dandruff you need to use a ketoconazole based antidandruff shampoo e.g Nizral shampoo Or Triatop shampoo. Lather it well into wet scalp and allow it to act for 5-7 minutes before rinsing it off with water. Use it thrice in a week.

You acne breakout may be partly due to stress and bad eating habits.
I suggest you to eat healthy, reduce stress and follow medical treatment in consultation with your doctor.
