Hello,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.I can understand your concern.

pimples or acne are common now days.

Main cause is hormonal changes leading to excessive sebum (oil) production.This leads blockage of pores and formation of pimples.Apart from this excess use of cosmetics,sunscreens can also add acne formation.Many people use topical steroids such as betnovate,panderm plus etc.These medication cal also agrrevete acne formation.

It will be important to keep your face free from oil as far as possible. A good oil control face wash will be helpful.If you are using any cosmetics or steroid creams please stop it.Avoid parlor treatments and face massage.

A number of treatments are available for acne.It depends on your skin condition and severity of acne.I will advise you to apply clindamycin contaning gel such as clindac a or clear gel over affected area two times daily along with oil control face wash.You may need a long term application such as one month .In case there is no response it will be better to consult a dermatologist .
