Question : My 10 year old daughter is suffering from multiple pointed pimples on her forehead. Kindly refer an image attached. This is the first time that this issue has encountered. I suspect that may be because of high temperature across XXXXXXX and she eating a lot of mangoes. But I would appreciate if you could provide us a solution. Thank You!
Brief Answer:
Acne; topical antiacne remedies should be fine
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I am dr.kakkar(dermatologist). I have reviewed the Image.
She has acne. Now since she has embarked on the time of onset of puberty, she can develop acne.
I suggest that she use topical Epiduo gel (Adapalene + benzoyl peroxide gel), once daily at night, over the affected area. She may use clindac - A gel during day time.
Regards

Any medicines to address this issue? Being a girl, she may not use a gel which will look odd in school. Just a though .
Is it okay if we just go with clindac - A?

Brief Answer:
try solution instead of gel during day
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
She may use Clindac - A solution instead of gel. Solution would dry up immediately.
At night she may use Epiduo gel. Use both of these for faster results at seperate times of the day. Clindac A alone is not recommended.
