Question: Yesterday I traveled from Barbados to Rhode Island. It took over 16 hours. I was sweaty, hungry, nauseous and had a severe headache. I took 4 Advil for the headache, it did not touch it. I became extremely anxious and broke out in a sweat on the last leg of the journey b/c of the turbulence and my anxiety disorder. That was yesterday. Today I continue to have the nausea, dizziness and tingling hands and feet. I take clonipin for the anxiety, vytorin for the cholesterol and nexium for my ibs. I feel really tired but cannot sleep due to these symptoms. I have had some nauzene and beef broth today. Oh, and celery. What should I do?

Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

What you are describing is acute anxiety. I recommend taking additional Klonopin, up to 1mg every 8 hours, to help you calm down. Soon, the anxiety will pass on its own. Lots of rest is also very important!
