Brief Answer:
Bacillary Dysentery

Detailed Answer:
Hi.... Many thanks for consulting in Health Care Magic.  It seems your kid is having acute  dysentery as there is blood in stools and also fever. Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or has green bilious vomiting...you need not worry.

Antibiotics are definitely needed. If i were your treating pediatrician my choice would be Cefixime orally. For dosing & prescription I suggest you approach your pediatrician. In addition I suggest you use zinc supplements & ORS along with antibiotics...

Hope my answer was helpful for you. Happy to help anytime. Further clarifications and consultations on Health Care Magic are welcome.

Brief Answer:
Oral rehydration solution

Detailed Answer:
ORS is Oral Rehydration Solution. It is the WHO (World Health Organization) approved formula that is used to replenish the losses incurred when the kid passes diarrhea and looses body fluids. It comes in 2 pack. one to mix in 1 liter of water and another to mix in 200ml of water. It depends on the manufacturer and the user has to follow the mixing instructions printed on the pack my the manufacturer. It is available commercial world over, as an over the counter medication. I am sure your local pharmacist will know about it.
