Question : There is a severe acute pain in one of my ears and I am not able to hear properly.

Pain of sudden onset with decreased hearing can be seen in folliculitis causing a boil inside the ear canal.

You can take painkillers like Tab Motrin 400mg twice daily after food. This helps to reduce the pain but you have to be examined by a ENT specialist to identify the cause for the same. Only after which specific treatment can be planned to cure the same.
