Question: My partner is I'll weak and jaundiced due to alcoholism. He is in an isolate room until his diahorrea has been gone 48 hrs. I found him lying today when he was moved teprarily moved onto a main ward. He had diahorrea once the night before bit as soon as they
Looked like keeping there his reply was o may had had some I didn't know about I felt it was a good sign to be in main ward. He told me he just wants to be on his own.The phsio helps him walk but otherwise he rings the buzzer to have his feet covered over. I know now he's been asked to move but won't even be propped up. Why is he doing this?

Alcoholism, jaundice and ascitis together made a very bad combination and your partner may be suffering from a disease called cirrhosis. This is a dreaded disease and the reports will tell the stage into which he is.
The staging will decide the further course of actions and prognosis.
This disease can land the patients any any and many of the complications any time.
