Question : I have Alcoholic hepatitis. Currently, this Friday will be 2 weeks without any wine. For the first time I am experience itching and jaundice on my torso, chest and eyes. Is there anything further that I can do to speed this process up and if not how long will it take?

Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

You have alcoholic hepatitis and it will require 6-12 months to improve hepatic function after stopping alcohol. So it's to early to see any improvement. However it all depends on the severity of alcoholic hepatitis.

Please can you upload the test results to check them by myself?

To speed the process of healing (recovery) I would like to suggest:
- Vitamin E
- Tiamine (vitamin B1)
- Pentoxyfilline and glucocorticoids on severe cases.
