Question: 4 days ago my 14 yo son was stung on the thigh by a bumblebee. It has a red circle around it that is red, hard, and hot; it's about the size of a tangerine. There is a white circle around that. He says he saw the bumblebee when it stung him. He was stung by a yellow jacket the same day on his foot. That area is still a little red but smaller than a nickel. Is this a concern after so many days?

Nothing to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
Usually there is an allergic reaction to insect bite.
It may last for 10 days.
It's better to give an antihistamine and antibiotics course.
This prevents development of infection at the site of bite.
Just relax there is nothing to worry.
Let me know if you have any other doubt.
