Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. The anti-allergic medication will only help to reduce your symptoms as long as you take them. They do not treat the root cause.

2. The images suggest a food related allergy as the most likely cause. There is no cure for allergy and avoidance is the best measure. Try to list any new foodstuff started over the past few months and follow a diet of elimination till you are better.

3. Extensive Skin Testing and Food Intolerance an be done to check for the possible allergens. Hypothyroidism makes you more prone for such problems. Check your Thyroid Hormone levels.

I hope that I have answered your queries. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.

Regards.

what treatment can be taken to reduce the high serum IgE level in blood which is making me prone to allergy. Do Anti allergic pills do that?

Should I also look at Ayurveda or homopath for treatment if want to corrcet the root cause. Please suggest.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for writing back.

1. Due to the complex interactions of immunoglobulin (Ig), a direct relationship between IgE levels and allergy cannot be equated.

2. Anti-allergic medications neutralize the aftereffects of Ig activation.

3. You may take alternative therapy to augment your treatment.

4. A monoclonal antibody sch as omalizumab can reduce IgE levels.

I hope that I have answered your queries. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.

Regards.
