Question : I had a heavy object land on my foot and would like to prevent any infection and was wondering what antibiotic is best to prevent infection on my foot

I am sorry to hear and see your injury to the foot. After you have cleaned the wound I would recommend using polysporin or any topical antibiotic ointment. Clean the wound then daily and re-apply the ointment. That should reduce your risk for infection. I would not recommend using any oral antibiotics at this point as there is no infection.
