Brief Answer: Analgesic can be taken for pain in anal region Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic. The pain and stinging sensation could be due to the residual fissure. The pain and discomfort will disappear slowly. So, you need not worry about it. You can consult your doctor for prescription of analgesic for the pain relief. As you have mentioned that you have hypertension and low HDL. You need to take appropriate treatment for these two conditions. If you have more queries I will be glad to answer. Dr Shailja P Wahal
