Brief Answer:
Colonoscopy would be required - Now or after a few days.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to Health Care Magic and Thanks for your question.
What was the problem you were facing that you approached the Doctor?
Having a anal fissure and Polyps is an indication to undergo a Colonoscopy to rule out any more Polyps in your Intestine(Colon). If the fissure is of recent onset(Acute) then Colonoscopy would be painful and you can wait for a week or so. If it is old(chronic) then you can undergo the Colonoscopy now itself.
But getting it done would be important.
Continue treatment for the Fissure meanwhile, as advised.
Take care and do let me know if there are other queries regarding this issue,
