Suggest Treatment For Anal Leakage

Posted on Mon, 15 Dec 2014
Question: For the past few weeks, I have had what I would call anal leakage. It isn't enough to stain my clothes but I have to go to the bathroom and wipe again every few hours. What might cause this? The only change I can think of is that recently stopped taking Adderall. My doctor's knows I stopped. Could that be related?

Brief Answer:
Cramps of stomach can occur

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking

Adderall is an amphetamine drug and its withdrawal can cause abdominal symptoms like cramps in abdomen and increased contractions of intestine. In a person taking high fat diets this may present with symptoms of anal leakage. But there are presence of other symptoms of withdrawal also. So if you don't have other symptoms of withdrawal besides this anal leakage, then as per my opinion these could not be related.

For anal leakage, I suggest you get your stool examination done. High fat content in stool could be the main reason of symptoms of anal leakage.

In follow up question please explains your problems in a little more details so that I can comment more on your condition.

Thanks.
