Question: I am having anger issues that need to Poof and be gone, can you assist
my anger stimulates from work and school...I have been an LPN since the age of 19 ...have worked OR for 8 years some ER Dr's offices stay at home mom department store for one year after 21 years of marriage and then back to nursing. my last job of over 11 years was in a state institution...it is not professional correct to say mental retarded...it is now developmental disabilities...my cottage the most dangerous on campus were very high funtion, had jobs, took meds (ususally without difficulty) I was a huge part of the team, so I thought...I was called in 15 min. before the end of my shift on March 5th of this year, told I was being moved to another cottage..That cottage was long term care, people that hit themselves all day sib, some non-ams, and I just couldn't bare it..
If I wanted to return to a nursing home I could work at one here in my town without having to get up at 4 a.m. and driving for 45 minutes...I know they are phasing out LPN's most places, but I had only 2 more years to retire, and they in my opion threw me away...I prayed, and prayed and cried, and on the 8th of March sent in my keys, my resignation, and also resigned from the STATE...Now the money is not great due to an early retirement, however I feel relief not to have to do that anymore..
I did personally visit some nursing homes and assissted living facilities, but I got nauseaus when I walked in and handed out my resume...

Everybody wants things online, but many jobs I cannot apply for online b/c they ask for email addresses and I cannot give out personal email addresses for state employees....Not allowed.

I have now just gotten a job at a garden center, which I think I am well suited for. I love gardening, and know most plants...It just hasn't started yet.

In the day, when State employees could make overtime, I worked 40-60 hours per week and also passed all pre-reqs and nursing classes with Excelsior College. I locked myself in my bedroom every chance I got to study...went to pearson view and passed them alll....however...3 chances to do clinicals in one weekend, I failed all three...

I need to release this anger and move on..

can you help

Brief Answer:
Please do following things to release anger

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for reverting back to me.

First of all I am sorry that your second post was not available while I was answering you. I got the information only after submitting my answer to you.

Regarding anger management you can do following things to vent out your anger.

1. Whenever you get angry walking away from the spot is good practice as it prevents further escalation of the problem.

2. use your anger energy in doing something creative. Relive your adolescent or childhood hobbies which may include painting, collecting antique materials, writing, gardening, having pets and list continues. In this way you will be enjoying the rediscovered hobbies while leaving minimal time for adverse activities.

3. Drink at least two to three liters of water per day including lemon water. his helps you in rejuvenating your body and managing the stress.

4. Try to be along with family or friends who are able to understand your emotions.

5. Use your spare time in helping needy one. Working once in a while without getting payment is ok and helps us in finding the meaning of life.

6. Start the new job as soon as possible which you landed up recently. It will help you to earn some much needed money while giving a chance to use your skill as well as energy.

7. Call your old friend or family member you wanted to call for a long time. It will help you in collecting your old memories.

8. When you are alone write down your feelings on a piece of paper and later on destroy it. This may work as a good method to vent out your anger.

Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
If not, you may close the discussion and if possible you may rate the answer for me, so that I get a good feedback.

Thanks and regards
