Suggest Treatment For Anxiety
Question: A few weeks ago I had sex with an old friend. My conscious has made me feel really guilty and I have stressed so much that I began to worry about possible stds. A week later I had frequent urination but no other signs of stds. Once I spoke with this person and she assured me that she doesn't have any stds. I felt better and the frequent urination went away, however this morning I saw a very tiny red dot on my underwear. Not sure where it came from. It is very small but given my fear I began to stress again. Over the last week I have taken 6 azo uti strips to read for nitrites and leukocytes all have been negative. I need peace of mind....Also urine seems very clear. I think I'm over reacting?

Is it safe to say that the AZO UTI Strips would identify a potential infection? not necessarily the STD but the fact that there is an infection in the body? As I mentioned the nitrites adn leukocytes were negative on all 6 tests. Would an STD produce a positive nitrite/leukocyte?

As stds are common after unprotected inter course with infected partner.
There is overlap of organisms causing STDs and uti.
