Suggest Treatment For Aortic Aneurysm With A Diameter Of 2cm

No active treatment needed for 2 cm aortic aneurysm
Detailed Answer:
Hello ,
The treatment of aortic aneurysm depends on whether there are symptoms or not , and where is the site of aneurysm like ascending aorta , arch or descending thoracic or abdominal aorta .
However as I start let me reassure you that where ever is the site for a 2 cm asymptomatic aneurysm, the treatment is Only ' Wait and watch '
Now you need to get a CT scan or MRI every 6 months to 1 year and see the increase in size of aneurysm.
If the size is more than 5.5 cm or it increases more than 0.5 cm per year, than only any form of treatment is needed .
Depending on the site if aneurysm you should be aware of the local symptoms due to compression and may visit your doctor if any symptoms.
Rest it's just incidental and no active form of treatment advice .
Also medicine has advanced such that even if any treatment is needed in future we would be able to close most aneurysm via endovascular means without any open surgery.
Hoping I could help .
Let me know if any clarification needed or you may upload your report for a more detailed review.
