Brief Answer:
Take bed rest.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain in the neck and right arm is not due to the compression fracture of T12. It is more likely to be due to nerve root compression at cervical vertebral level. For the compression fracture it is best to take an absolute bed rest. Just taking rest on a firm mattress will help in healing the fracture. You also need to have specific medicines to retard the progression of osteoporosis after consulting your orthopedician.
I hope this answers your query.

Is this why I have pain in my lower back and down my left leg? Some times I have a strange severe pain in the upper part of my left leg and hip is this why? Will the fx heal on its own? Judi

Brief Answer:
Due to lumbar spondylosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The pain in lower back down the left leg is likely to be due to spondylottic changes in the lower spine. It is not related to T12 fracture. The fracture will heal on its own with rest.
Hope my answer is helpful.
