Question : i 'm 73 male good heatlth except arthritis which exhibits as stiffness particularly in morning or after exercise. was taking percocet 10-325 4 per day for two years and was getting relief, but tolerance was buidling up - so as not to take high doses and to "get off " percocets, i worked with suboxone dr to take 8/2mg twice daily. it has provided about 60% of pain relief of percocet. i have not had any opiates for 75 days and have no creavings for them.
what can i take with suboxone to get more relief from the arthritis which is chronic and constant- the suboxone gives about 60% relief. are nsaids a good option?

                                    Brief Answer:
you can take pregabalin
Detailed Answer:
hi, you can start taking Acetaminophen/paracetamol 500 mg upto 3 times a day scheduling it approximately every 8th hourly. you shall get benefit with this. you can also take pregabalin 75 mg once daily but have to be careful as this may decrease pain but may also increase sedation at least for first 72 hours. hope this helps.

past use of lyrica and neurotin and celebrex provided no relief which lead dr/self to the percocet route. tramadol was effective with constipation a moderate problem.
can tramadol be safely prescribed with suboxone-rate/dosage?
other options?
thanx
