Brief Answer:
It will respond with Antibiotics and Oxygen

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day
Dear Mr Lalwani

Being a parent myself I understand your concern and apprehension.

From the description given the cause is likely to be Aspiration Pneumonia (It occurs due to regurgitation and aspiration of stomach contents into the airway system leading to infection of the lung).
Do not worry he will improve with adequate antibiotics and Oxygen. The time taken for complete recovery is usually 1 week. As the baby is on Oxygen and is not on Ventilatory support it us unlikely to be serious.

It would be helpful if you could provide me following additional information for me to give you detailed information and advise (Prognosis will depend on following factors )

1. Age of baby
2. Since how long have the complaints been present.
3. What are the investigation done : If possible provide me Arterial blood gas analysis and Chest X ray report (providing image will be better )
4. Watch the baby feed after birth?

Awaiting your response

Take care
