Question: I have had a backache for several days, but blamed it on lifting and turning with a heavy object. Then my neck started to hurt all of the time. I also have a sore throat and a headache. I am not used to headaches, but this

So you are having muscle aches with backache,headache , a sore throat ,earache and low grade fever.
It seems that you are heaving a viral infection.
Don't need to worry .Usually it is a self limited condition that can last up to 1 weeks and then resolve on its own.
I would suggest to rest a lot, eat well ,sleep enough.Drink plenty of fluids.
You can take Ibuprofen or Tylenol for the pain and the fever.
You can do salt water gargles several times a day to ease the sore throat.
Drinking tea with honey can help too.
You can apply warm compresses in the affected ear when you have pain.
