Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
I understand your concern. However in order to help you better I need to clarify a few more things
1. Why are you on a blood thinner? What drug are you taking and what dosage? If it is Warfarin then what was your previous INR?
2. When did you hit your head and how bad was the hit? Did you become unconscious or drowsy?
3. When you say your head hurts, is the place where you have hit your head or do you have a headache?
Please get back to me, I am awaiting your reply
Regards

Brief Answer:
CT Brain
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the reply
Patients on Warfarin are more likely to bleed than patients on other blood thinners like Aspirin or clopidogrel.
Since you have headache and tenderness at the site of injury I strongly suggest you to get a CT brain done. If there is a bleed you might have to stop taking Warfarin for a while. Usually head injuries cause sub dural hematoma which does not require any intervention. Please do not ignore this matter any further
I wish you good health
