Suggest Treatment For Back Muscle Pain

You are likely to be having disc prolapse
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic for posting your query
I'm Dr. Sudhir Kumar,
I have gone through your question in detail and understand your concern.
You are most likely to be having acute disc prolapse as it occurred during heavy weight lifting. Second possibility is muscular pain. I will order for MRI of lumbar spine to differentiate between te two.
In this circumstance, I advice you to rest well preferably on the lateral position with both hips and knees flexed. Analgesic such as ibuprofen can be taken for pain relief. If pain is more than you can take strong analgesic such as tramadol. Omeprazole before meals can be used to prevent acidity caused by analgesic.
In the interim plan a visit to your local doctor and discuss about need for MRI scan.
Hope I have answered your query.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
If not, you may close the discussion and if possible you may rate the answer for me, so that I get a good feedback.
