Suggest Treatment For Back Pain And Fever

Question: Have had sore back since Sunday, no lumps or bruising and is only on the right. Started right by pelvic girdle then spread up to shoulder blade, tender if you press in but not to touch. Has gotten but this morning got a 101 fever, three hrs later up to 103. Urine flow and appearance is normal, did have slight pain on back when yawning but breathing without pain now.

I am so sorry to hear about this pain and fever. Seems to by myalgia from viral infections. This is not uncommon after viral infections of the upper respiratory tract. If you have had any flu symptoms, then that is the most likely explanation of your symptoms. For now, take Ibuprofen and tylenol to address any pains and fever and observe. If this persists, then we may need to do some more testing and examination to gather more details and act accordingly.
