Suggest Treatment For Back Pain Caused Due To An Injury

Question: Hi,

I just fell from the stairs and hurt the left side of my lower back. (The edge of the stair hit my back)
I am able to sit,stand and walk after the initial shock. But the area really hurts if I touch it.
Please let me know if I need to take any precautions or SOS.

I will advise to
Rest the part and avoid any movements that produce pain.
Apply ice or a cold pack to the painful area for 15 to 20 minutes, 4 times a day for several days. Wrap the ice or cold pack in a towel.
Till time you can take anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxant like myoril plus.

If swelling is not reducing and giving pain I will advise you to further investigate
I will advise you to do X ray spine consulting your doctor.
Back injury can be managed conservatively with physiotherapy with USG and TENS.
Till time take rest, avoid lifting weight.

Thank you doctor for the quick answer. I couldn't find Myoril Plus, so I had Cip-Zox. But that is causing gas and irritable stomach. Is it ok? Should I continue with this medicine or try Myoril Plus?Do let me know if I should take 4 mg or 8 mg for Myoril Plus?

CIP ZOX will give lot side effects so I will advise to start myoril 4mg twice daily.
